A Birthday Clean Up At Pawling Park

  • When: Saturday, April 22nd, 11-1pm.
  • Where: Pawling Park, 560 Congress Street, Troy
  • What: April 22nd is Earth Day, but simultaneously, It’s Col. Albert Pawling 267th birthday. In honor of both occasions, the Friends will be organizing a small clean up in and around Pawling Park, while also helping out other neighborhood clean up projects, like the Old Mt. Ida Cemetery. A birthday cake from the Cookie Factory will be served at 1pm.

An unique letter, signed by the Mayors of Troy, endorsing the statue project and encouraging Trojans to join the Honorary Committee for the project’s last fundraiser in March, 2016. The fundraiser was a resounding success and provided the committee the remaining funds to officially complete the Statue Project.
